Maria took the opportunity earlier this week to attend the Libertines and Babyshambles front-man’s show in Manchester.
Before gig, they chatted about all things Ukraine, with Maria presenting Pete with a Ukrainian flag and a copy of the book ‘The Language of War’ by Oleksandr Mykhed.
During the concert, Pete wore the Ukraine flag, and chatted with Maria about his support for Ukraine and his dislike of Putin, encouraging the crowd to shout Slava Ukraini
Jez and Maria are hoping they’ll be speaking to the Libertines in November as part of their Talks For Bands scheme.
